Over the past few weeks, news of .hack trademarks have been circling the globe. However, the only region that has been officially confirmed for the .hack//G.U. remaster, .hack//G.U. Last Recode, is Japan.
Last week, .hack//G.U. Last Recode had been trademark in Europe, and now adds North America to its trademark list, from Bandai Namco.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode will include all three volumes, Rebirth, Reminisce and Redemption. On top of that, resolution has been remastered to 1080p (supporting output to 4K) running at 60 FPS. Backgrounds, characters, shadows and more have been remastered and the difference can be seen at a glance. Cutscenes have also been converted to high resolution (excluding some modes), and the UI has been redesigned in high definition as well.
Although this doesn’t guarantee a release, it seems more than likely that fan will receive details about the game soon.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode development is currently 80% completeis planned to release on PlayStation 4 and PC in the future. The most recent update about the game stated that .
