.hack//G.U. PS4/PC Remaster .hack//G.U. Last Recode's Western Release Officially Announced

Bandai Namco has been quite fast lately in announcing its English localization, and we already have the confirmation of the western release of the remaster for PS4 and PC of the classic PS2 JRPG series .hack//G.U. titled  .hack//G.U. Last Recode.

The remaster is being developed to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the .hack series, which debuted in 2002. Its development is currently 80% complete, and will come with 1080p graphics (including upscaling up to 4K), 60 FPS, and a lot of gameplay improvements to make the game fresher for modern audiences.

It will also basically work as a collection, since it will include all three titles of the .hack//G.U. series, Rebirth, Reminisce and Redemption.

The announcement came with a trailer in English and a few screenshots, which you can see below. It also isn’t giant surprise, considering that Bandai Namco recently trademarked the title both in Europe and in the United States.

At the moment .hack//G.U. Last Recode. does not have a western release date, but just a “late 2017” for PS4 and PC.
